My brother Bob gave me a great birthday present – my very own domain name. He’s always been by far the best in our family at figuring out the perfect present for everyone. So this blog can now (also) be found at:
Thanks Bob!
I realised when writing this post that it is also roughly the second anniversary of me starting blogging, back when I was thinking of making this a professional blog (which is why my early posts are very finance focused).
I had not really realised I had been writing this for so long.
Thank you everyone who reads and comments here. I do very much enjoy the challenge of trying to organise my thoughts well enough for a coherent post. I love the way it makes me think harder about what is going on in the world, and it has given me a new respect for the hard work and research that is involved in being a good journalist/op-ed writer (not that I’m putting myself anywhere near that category).
Happy blogiversary!
Congratulations on your blog birthday and on having your own domain name – how cool! What a nice brother.
Happy Birthday to blog and person. You may shame me into activity of my own yet.
Happy birthday and happy blogday. I hardly ever comment, but I really, really love your blog.
PU,
Congratulations – a domain name makes location a lot easier to find. Are you going to make that the default? If so, let me know and I will repoint the links.
Happy Anniversary. And Happy Birthday. First time visitor. I came over from Relaxed Parents.
Congratulations! And what a great present! I’m quite addicted to domain names. And they’re great for email – kind of a permanent forwarding address that can follow you around from provider to provider.
