Social liberal, economic conservative, feminist, mother of two boys and an Australian republican. I love analysing statistics about stuff, but don’t get to do it as much at work these days. Trying to figure out my own work life balance, so I blog about it often. I work in the financial services industry in Sydney. Antony Green is my favourite political commentator.

Hi there.
I just wanted to tell you about Oxfam Autralia’s Unwrapped fundraiser. You may have heard of this program where you can buy Goats $39 Chickens $10 School books for a needy child $28 and a number of other gift ideas which you buy your friends or family at the same time as helping someone who has nothing much at all.
It really is clever gift giving that makes a difference in peoples lives and the gift recipient receives a personalised card detailing how the gift makes a difference.
I was hoping you may be able to mention this somewhere on your site? If you would like more inforrmation please go to http://www.oxfamunwrapped.com.au or send me an email. I can send you images and/or blurbs if you are interested in helping us to promote our work in 26 countries including Indigenous Australia.
Thanks
Brett Long

We’re spreading the word about our new title, ‘The Great Feminist Denial’, by Monica Dux and Zora Simic, and are keen to send you a complimentary copy for review purposes. Would be much appreciated if you can give me a postal address that I can send to.
Many thanks,
